The Idaho Falls Opera Theatre is a volunteer based, non-profit organization that
began in 1977 to provide exciting, enjoyable entertainment through the beauty of the human voice and the music and pageantry of
opera. The mission of IFOT is to present professional quality opera and musical productions for Idaho Falls and the
surrounding areas by utilizing and developing the talents of local musicians, actors, and technicians of all ages in all aspects
of production without regard to race, religion, age, gender, social or economic standing, or handicap. Through our fully
staged productions, our extensive outreach programs, and our use of professional singers and directors to educate local performers
and improve the quality of our productions, we provide access to cultural opportunities and enhancements for our audiences, while
promoting a broad public knowledge and appreciation of opera. Productions are scheduled over several evenings to provide more
opportunities for audiences to attend.
